統一獅隊內野手陳重廷在昨（23）日對上猿隊的比賽中，敲出職棒生涯首轟。陳重廷表示，很感謝獅隊打擊教練劉育辰和大學時的打擊教練廖敏雄。
陳重廷說，以前在業餘時，為了求上壘，在2好球後都會去「碰」球，不過獅隊打擊教練劉育辰告訴他：「職棒是打長期的，你（陳重廷）不能因為2好球，就去碰你不想打或不喜歡的球。」
劉育辰告訴陳重廷，去碰球反而可能造成雙殺，如果大力揮棒，就算是三振，也不會影響到壘上的跑壘員。
除了劉育辰外，陳重廷也相當感謝另一位打擊教練，就是文化大學的打擊教練廖敏雄，「我很謝謝廖教練，他只希望我把球打得有力，因為球打得有力自然而然會形成長打，安打率也會變高，而且廖教練也給我們很大的空間去發揮。」
陳重廷表示，進入職棒自己還在學習，不管是自己的觀念，或是守備時的站位等，好在球隊學長不管在任何技巧上，都不會吝嗇去指導新人。明年將是陳重廷第一個完整球季，他也會在春訓時向學長請教如何調配整個賽季的體能。
統一獅今天在花蓮棒球場迎戰富邦悍將，靠著球隊打線在4、5兩局的猛攻，打下13分的大局，獅隊今天早早底定優勢，最終就以13：7擊敗富邦，並賞給對手5連敗，而今天繳出「猛打賞」演出的高國慶，則是獲得單場MVP的肯定。
此役羅力前3局投得相當優異，但在4局下卻遭到控球上的亂球，單局被敲出5支安，加上三壘手李宗賢發生要命失誤，讓球隊單局丟掉6分，羅力只投了3又1/3局就退場，也是他本季首次沒投完4局就被打退場。
5局下，獅隊攻勢再起，在一人出局後，又是連續4支安打打退了富邦首任中繼投手蕭一傑，接著林晨樺上來又控球不穩，連續投出2次四壞保送，教練團只好緊急再換上倪福德，但是隊友守備卻不捧場，讓統一在該局狂轟7分，取得13：1的領先。
富邦前5局受制於統一洋投泰倫斯的壓制，僅靠著方克偉的陽春砲，打回唯一的1分。6局上，中心打線利用泰倫斯狀況下滑之際，連續敲出4支安打，在該局要回3分。
8局上，兩出局後，林哲瑄敲出安打上壘，林益全右外野方向滾地安打，形成一、三壘有人的局面，石翔宇接著敲出中外野方向安打，帶有2分打點，讓球隊追到剩下7分差。
9局上，統一換上王鏡銘上來關門，他雖然被陳凱倫敲出左外野方向的陽春砲，但是最終還是穩穩抓下3個出局數，幫助球隊以13：7獲得勝利。
統一今天全隊敲出14支安打，其中高國慶完成「猛打賞」的表現，敲出3支安打、外帶3分打點；另外陳鏞基、蘇智傑、林志祥也都有單場2支安打的演出。
富邦此役發生了3次失誤，而他們本季在此之前，僅有3場比賽失誤在3次以上，為4隊最少，不過今天顯然守備上有些荒腔走板，也給投手們增加了更多的負擔。
